Crystal Reports Basic

This two day course is an introduction to Crystal Reports for SDE.  This course gives you the foundation necessary to write basic reports.  You are given the optimal settings for using Crystal Reports with SDE and provided with information on the backend of SDE that will allow you to understand the Views and fields needed for writing common reports.  At the end of the class you will have an understanding of both the backend of SDE and the basics of Crystal reports.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Set file and report options.
• Select and place database fields on a report.
• Format a report using absolute and conditional formatting.
• Insert text objects on a report.
• Create simple formulas.
• Create groups, summaries, and set sort orders for reports.
• Understand table linking to create more complex reports.
